About
Miguel’s work is akin to an active archaeological site, where they mine their own memories, relationships, and environments to make curious observations about their personal history. Through the manipulation, warping, scanning, printing, and burning of imagery sourced from family and historical photographs, and then collecting the remnants left behind in the process, Miguel explores the complexities of the diasporic experiences belonging to themself, their family, and beyond.
